NTT DATA Services currently seeks a VP Insurance Consulting to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).



Vice President, Insurance Consulting


The Vice President will oversee client management and strategy for multi-million-dollar clients in specific industries based on specific Regions. (Southeast, Midwest and West) The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the IT Outsourcing Consulting Services industry including market assessment/strategic planning, and a hands-on role in new revenue attainment. 


Specific responsibilities of the new Vice President:

  • The Vice President will help analyzes a client’s business environment, organizational goals and culture to identify opportunities and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
  • Will plays a central role in understanding a client’s issues/problems, defining the scope of projects, and defining client deliverables.
  • Will provide strategy to the team of consultants and Sales Executives that work with organizations to analyze, design and implement solutions that are strategically and operationally impactful.
  • Develops and implements strategies to grow business within the Insurance practice.
  • Will lead through the oversight and direction of other leaders
  • Works directly with executive leadership to ensure strategies and priorities align with and fully support corporate-wide strategies and objectives
  • Influences and recommends strategies to enhance the company’s financial and market position
  • Directs, motivates and develops staff to design and implement best practice programs vital to the organization’s success and growth
  • Acts as trusted business advisor to executive leadership in growing and scaling the business.

Skills needed:


  • Must have exceptional communication skills with C-Level Executives
  • Expert ability to identify and evaluate existing and potential business challenges within the Insurance sector.  (P&C or L&A)
  • Highly influential with ability to adapt communication style to both non-technical and technical audiences.
  • Models effective collaboration and partnership skills
  • Models exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Expert ability to develop comprehensive and complex operational and strategic plans.
  • Expert ability to lead, coach and develop a matrixed and cross-functional team including the most senior technical individual contributors 
  • Basic Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience leading Insurance client engagements with technology solutions
  • 3+ years of consulting experience
