We are currently seeking a Business Consulting-Technical Operations Manager to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead and oversee the management, reliability, and scalability of our IT infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems while driving operational excellence across on-premises and cloud platforms.

This role requires a strong background in infrastructure management, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and IT operations leadership, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations:

  • Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities for critical systems.

  • Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including hybrid or multi-cloud strategies.

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Technical Operations & Service Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring service uptime, incident response, and performance optimization.

  • Manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

  • Develop and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and SLAs.

  • Lead incident, change, and problem management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.

  • Ensure security compliance, patch management, and system audits across infrastructure.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, cloud engineers, and network specialists.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure smooth delivery and operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in operations through automation, standardization, and performance tuning.

  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and licensing agreements.

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute the technical operations roadmap aligned with business and technology goals.

  • Contribute to budget planning, cost optimization, and capacity management for IT resources.

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance infrastructure efficiency.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7–12 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or cloud management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and security concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and monitoring tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Nagios, Prometheus, Datadog).

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Excellent understanding of ITIL processes and service delivery management.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, ITIL Foundation, or PMP.

  • Experience with cybersecurity controls, identity management (AD, Azure AD), and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).

  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.

  • Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments.
