We are currently seeking a IT Solution Architect - IT Infrastructure to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Mode of working – Hybrid structure (2 days a week from office)

Working Time- 11 am to 8 pm IST

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect specializing in IT Infrastructure to join the dynamic Infrastructure Team for our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) project. The project focuses on migrating existing PLM systems to Teamcenter, within the Siemens Mobility ecosystem. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, reviewing, and maintaining robust on-premise and cloud-based IT Infrastructure for PLM Teamcenter. Key Responsibilities

As an IT Solution Architect, you will:

1. Infrastructure Design & Strategy

 o Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure IT Infrastructure solutions (on-prem and cloud).

o Define technical requirements and ensure they align with the objectives of the PLM Teamcenter Migration project.

o Collaborate with providers to leverage cloud platforms and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. 

2. Project Collaboration

o Support the PLM project team with infrastructure-related decisions, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance.

o Liaise with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions.

 3. Cloud & Vendor Management

o Manage cloud platforms and services within Siemens guidelines, ensuring high availability and compliance.

o Oversee provider/vendor contracts, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.

4. Cybersecurity

o Incorporate cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure designs.

o Monitor and maintain compliance with Siemens cybersecurity requirements.

5. Continuous Improvement

o Periodically review and optimize infrastructure to ensure it meets current and future business requirements.

o Identify and drive automation opportunities within infrastructure and cloud environments.

6. Support & Maintenance

o Provide technical guidance during incident resolution and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.

o Document infrastructure solutions and ensure knowledge is shared across relevant teams.

Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• IT Infrastructure Expertise:

o In-depth understanding of on-premise and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar platforms)

o Hands-on experience with designing robust infrastructure hosting solutions both on-prem & cloud based

o Good understanding of SAFE & ITIL practices

• Cloud Technologies:

o Proficient in designing cloud-based solutions and working with Infrastructure-as-a Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) tools.

• Cybersecurity Concepts:

o Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.

• PLM Tools & Migration (Desired but not mandatory): o

 Experience with PLM systems, particularly Teamcenter, and its integration within an enterprise landscape.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related f ield.

• Professional Experience:

 o Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure roles with at least 2-3 years as an IT Solution Architect.

o Prior experience within global organizations, preferably in IT/engineering domains.

• Certifications: o Cloud certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Architect) is highly desired.

o ITIL certification or experience in IT service management is a plus.
