We are currently seeking a Technical Program/Project Manager - Capital Markets / Asset Management to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Job Title: Project Manager 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Capital Markets / Asset Management to lead complex software delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing end-to-end SDLC projects, working across hybrid environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a product-led organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end software delivery projects across the full SDLC lifecycle
• Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are met
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align delivery with business goals
• Manage stakeholders across business and technology, providing regular status updates and risk mitigation plans
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and forecasting
• Ensure adherence to Agile, DevOps, and governance best practices
• Support change management and process improvements within the organization

Experience & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Technical Project/Program Management or Software Engineering
• 3–4 years managing complex software delivery projects in hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) environments
• Mandatory experience in Capital Markets / Asset Management
• Proven experience managing full SDLC lifecycle with engineering teams
• Exposure to product-led organizations and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies
• Hands-on knowledge of:
  • APIs & Microservices architectures
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes
• Familiarity with:
  • Databases and data integration concepts
  • Software engineering best practices

Tools & Technologies

• Mandatory: Jira, Confluence
• Project tools: MS Project / Smartsheet
• Version control concepts: Git / GitHub
• Collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, New Relic

Core Project Management Skills

• Project planning & execution
• Risk and issue management
• Stakeholder management
• Budgeting and financial tracking
• Change management

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CSM/PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, PRINCE2
• Experience in:
  • Cloud migration initiatives
  • Digital transformation programs
  • API-driven platforms
  • AI/ML initiatives or platform modernization
• Exposure to product management or customer-facing product delivery
