We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

The Project Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the client and team members, to manage Medicaid and other HHS-related Organization Change Management projects and lead the overall project. The Project Manager will be responsible for performing, delegating and managing the activities within the project team, working closely with the client. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, direction, prioritization and delivery of all projects in a manner aligned with the client’s expectations and business needs. They will document charters, work plans, resource needs, timelines and budgets for projects assigned – and manage resources (staffing and other) to achieve the project objectives on time, within scope, and on budget. The PM will determine and coordinate the sharing of leveraged resources among projects. They will prepare, present, and distribute project information to internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate and required. He/she will actively participate in the development and delivery of OCM Deliverables, training, outreach, quality management services, and associated deliverables. 

Job Responsibilities Include:
•    Client relationship and expectation management including working daily with key client leadership 
•    Ability to develop, maintain, and manage to a project schedule; including ensuring the tasks are appropriately assigned and deadlines are being met
•    Ability to develop, maintain, review, and manage project plans, risk logs, issue logs, and other deliverables essential to effective project management and/or required by the client
•    Develop client deliverables in accordance with project requirements and company documentation standards 
•    Provide recommendations to the client on critical business and project decisions 
•    Ensure that all project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable
•    Create and sustain a culture that encourages high performance of individuals and teams 
•    Perform periodic assessment activities
•    Assist with workforce management (hiring, scheduling, staff orientation) 
•    Participate in meetings and communicate complete and accurate project status reports, risks and issues to the Client, as appropriate 
•    Participate in project and other stakeholder meetings, as needed 
•    Develop and submit reports as needed to the client and federal government (as required)  
•    Review and assess project schedules and project management plans for quality, completeness, compliance, and effectiveness 
•    Ensure an effective project management process (including, but not limited to risk management, schedule and cost management, change management and issue resolution) 
•    Manage, coordinate, and write OCM Documents and manage OCM teams, including:
o    Mentor team members on OCM activities including development, maintenance, and reporting
o    Mentor client project teams in understanding OCM activities 
o    Participate in and/or facilitate engagement with the Stakeholder to develop a collaborative working relationship
•    Manage, coordinate, and write Requests for Proposals (RFP)s, Request for Information (RFI)s, and other procurement documents for state government
•    Manage, coordinate, and measure business process improvement activities 

Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years work experience or equivalent work experience
•    Minimum 2 years experience managing Medicaid/MMIS, Eligibility, or other state government projects 
•    Minimum 6 years Project Management experience 

Preferred Skills:
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 
•    Previous managerial/leadership experience preferred 
•    Five or more years’ experience training, guiding, mentoring project team members
•    Understanding and experience with MMIS business processes
•    Experience effectively engaging in training junior level staff 
•    Ability to write meaningful reports and plans
•    Ability to communicate difficult concepts to technical and non-technical staff 
•    Ability to communicate succinctly and accurately in written and verbal English
