We are currently seeking a Data Governance SME to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Responsibilities: · Documents core data governance framework deliverables – operating model, organization roles & responsibilities, policies, standards, use cases, and performance metrics · Documents client organization's direction, structure, business processes and requirements as they relate to creation and maintenance of data. · Analyzes business objectives to understand the governance needs and to determine how data governance can best function to fulfill those needs. · Identifies cross impact to other systems/initiatives/capabilities. · Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs. · Understands data governance framework and can clearly articulate roles, goals, and timelines. · Work closely with client stakeholders to understand data challenges, objectives and provide guidance and training on the data governance framework. · Creates, consolidates, and presents documents relating to use cases, policies, processes, standards, and guidelines, maintaining them throughout the project, including traceability back to requirements. · Provides a business or process perspective during design reviews. · Participates in change control process throughout the project. · Proactively carries out project support /administrative functions. · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite · Ability to travel according to client demands Minimum Skills Required: Basic Qualifications: · 8+ years of experience defining and implementing Data Governance Programs · 6+ years of experience working with Data Governance Tools and Platforms (Mainly Microsoft Purview) · 7+ years of experience managing small projects including status reporting, risk & issue management, resource and budget management · 3+ years of experience working with MDM tools · 2+ years engagement management experience · Bachelor’s degree in business or related field Preferences: · Consulting experience highly preferred · Industry specific consulting experience (FSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare)
