Position Overview

NTT DATA is seeking an accomplished executive leader to serve as Executive, Head of Cloud & Security within our Cloud & Security business. This role is responsible for defining and executing the global platform and innovation strategy that underpins the growth, scale, and differentiation of the Cloud & Security portfolio.

Reporting directly to the President, Cloud & Security, will lead the development, evolution, and operationalization of the OneNTT Platform, ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities while advancing engineering excellence, automation, cloud innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.  This executive will oversee a large, globally distributed organization and lead multiple critical capability areas including Platform Engineering, Automation, Generative AI, Cloud Strategy, Innovation, and Delivery Enablement. The role requires a visionary leader capable of driving transformational change, accelerating innovation, improving operational effectiveness, and enabling business growth through technology platforms and engineering excellence.

Accountabilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the global strategy, vision, and roadmap for the OneNTT Platform and associated innovation capabilities.
• Establish long-term platform, automation, AI, and cloud modernization strategies that support Cloud & Security business objectives.
• Drive innovation programs that enhance service offerings, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation.
• Partner with Cloud & Security executive leadership to align platform investments with growth strategies and business priorities.

Platform & Engineering Excellence

• Lead global Platform Engineering functions responsible for platform architecture, development, modernization, and lifecycle management.
• Drive engineering productivity, standardization, automation, and operational excellence across Cloud & Security delivery organizations.
• Champion adoption of modern engineering practices, cloud-native architectures, platform-based delivery models, and AI-driven automation.
• Ensure platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Lead innovation initiatives focused on Generative AI, automation, intelligent operations, and emerging cloud technologies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve client outcomes, accelerate delivery, and increase operational efficiency.
• Establish innovation frameworks that transform ideas into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.

Organizational Leadership

• Lead and develop a globally distributed organization of more than 500 professionals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team consisting of Executive Level leaders, Senior Directors, and Directors.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and talent strategy across the function.

Business Enablement & Operational Performance

• Establish operational metrics, governance frameworks, and performance management practices that drive accountability and measurable business outcomes.
• Ensure platform and innovation investments deliver tangible value through productivity improvements, accelerated delivery, and enhanced customer experiences.
• Collaborate with delivery, sales, solutioning, and business leaders to enable revenue growth and strategic business initiatives.

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives across NTT DATA.
• Build strong partnerships with global business, technology, delivery, product, and operations leaders.
• Influence enterprise decision-making through technology leadership, strategic insight, and execution excellence.
• Represent Platform Technology & Innovation in executive forums and strategic planning discussions.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience leading large-scale global technology, platform engineering, cloud, or innovation organizations.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise platform strategies that drive business transformation and operational scale.
• Deep expertise in one or more areas including Cloud Strategy, Platform Engineering, Automation, AI/Generative AI, Digital Engineering, or Technology Innovation.
• Proven experience leading large, globally distributed teams through complex transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes across global organizations.
• Experience managing senior leadership teams, including executive-level leaders and directors.
• Demonstrated financial, operational, and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
