We are currently seeking a Managed Services Accountant to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

Managed Services Financial Accounting and Reporting

• • Weekly update of the managed services backout schedule which provides the monthly backout cost. This is a significant cost for the managed services business.
    • Updating the backout schedule for new MS purchase orders raised.
    • Recording purchase orders that have been invoice receipted (SAP receipting is performed by Vendor Administration team)
    • Review of monthly movement by vendor and client
    • Review and reconciliation of the backout prepayment, accrual and expense movement
    • Preparation of additional monthly backout accruals where the purchase orders have not yet been raised.
    • Preparation of backout prepayment, accrual and expense journal entries.

• • Revenue recognition processing and preparation of data required for posting of revenue by client and business unit.
  • Preparation and posting of cost recognition by client and business unit.
  • Deferred revenue balance sheet reconciliation
  • Preparation and review of miscellaneous cost accruals including Global service charges.
  • Contract base movement and analysis –additions and churn
  • SAP Derivation table maintenance and maintaining system data integrity.
  • Timesheet and cross-charge reporting and review.
  • Preparing monthly SOX requirements
  • Assistance with SOX, Internal and External Audits

Other Duties

• • Support Management Accountant with Salesforce opportunity hygiene and Salesforce to SAP booking reconciliations.
  • Streamline processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct special projects as requested from time to time by Manager Financial Control.
