Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP CPI & Integrations Lead to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architectural design, development, implementation, and management of complex integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite, with a strong focus on Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

You will serve as a technical and architectural leader, guiding the team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions for both SAP and non-SAP systems. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the SAP integration space, with extensive hands-on experience in CPI, is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Integration Strategy: Define and enforce enterprise integration architecture, standards, best practices, and governance models for SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Design and Development:
    • Lead the design and development of end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP CPI, covering data mapping, transformation (XML, XSLT, JSON), and connectivity.
    • Develop complex iFlows for both cloud and on-premise system integrations using a variety of protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, HTTP).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship to the integration team, including both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead integration initiatives through the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
    • Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Solutioning and Estimation: Drive the solutioning, estimation, and scoping of new integration projects.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Oversee and perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for integration failures.
    • Utilize CPI monitoring tools to resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure the stability of the platform.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Establish and enforce integration security standards using methods such as OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS.
    • Manage security artifacts, including the handling of certificates and keys for secure data exchange.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Champion DevOps and CI/CD concepts for integration lifecycle management.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve integration processes and architecture.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and features in SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and related technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP integration technologies, with at least 4-5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience with SAP CPI/Integration Suite.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep expertise in SAP BTP and Integration Suite, including API Management and Event Mesh.
    • Extensive experience with iFlow design, message mapping, and Groovy scripting.
    • Strong knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc) and integration patterns.
    • Proven experience integrating with core SAP applications such as SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and cloud solutions like SuccessFactors, Ariba
    • Proficiency in XML, XSLT transformations.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Experience defining integration architecture and strategy in complex enterprise environments.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Demonstrated experience in a technical lead or architect role, guiding and mentoring team members.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to balance conflicting needs and make sound technical decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex integration challenges.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant SAP CPI/Integration Suite certifications are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices for integration artifacts.
  • Knowledge of SAP PI/PO for legacy integration knowledge transfer.
