We are currently seeking a Sr Alteryx Engineer to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

"Job Duties: Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Alteryx Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and optimization of enterprise-scale data workflows and analytics solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Alteryx Designer and Server, strong data engineering capabilities, and the ability to guide technical strategy while mentoring junior team members.
The ideal candidate will drive automation initiatives, enforce governance best practices, and ensure scalable, high-performance data solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
•    Lead the design and architecture of scalable, reusable, and high-performance Alteryx workflows.
•    Define standards and best practices for workflow development, documentation, testing, and deployment.
•    Architect enterprise data pipelines integrating multiple data sources (Databases, APIs, Cloud, Flat files, SaaS platforms).
•    Design and develop reusable macros, analytic apps, and frameworks.
Alteryx Server & Governance
•    Administer and manage Alteryx Server/Gallery environments (deployment, scheduling, permissions, monitoring).
•    Implement governance frameworks including version control, audit controls, and workflow migration processes.
•    Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across workflows.
•    Monitor performance and troubleshoot server-related issues.
Advanced Data Engineering & Optimization
•    Optimize workflows for scalability, performance tuning, and memory management.
•    Implement advanced SQL queries and database optimization techniques.
•    Work with large datasets across cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
•    Integrate Python/R scripts within Alteryx for advanced analytics and automation.
Stakeholder & Business Collaboration
•    Partner with business leaders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
•    Provide solution recommendations and drive data automation strategy.
•    Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
•    Communicate insights and technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Mentorship & Team Leadership
•    Mentor and guide junior Alteryx engineers and analysts.
•    Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
•    Drive knowledge-sharing sessions and best practice workshops.
•    Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and capability development.
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
•    Oversee production deployments and manage incident resolution.
•    Implement CI/CD processes for workflow deployment.
•    Continuously evaluate emerging tools, features, and technologies for improvement.

Minimum Skills Required: Required Skills & Qualifications
•    8+ years of overall experience in data engineering/analytics.
•    5+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer.
•    Strong experience with Alteryx Server administration and governance.
•    Advanced SQL expertise (performance tuning, indexing, query optimization).
•    Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data warehousing concepts.
•    Experience working with enterprise-scale relational and cloud databases.
•    Experience integrating Alteryx with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
•    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and solution architecture skills.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

•    Alteryx Advanced or Expert Certification.
•    Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•    Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git).
•    Experience with APIs, REST integrations, and automation frameworks.
•    Exposure to Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
•    Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree is a plus."
