NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Healthcare IT Agile Program Manager - Reston, VA to join our team in Reston, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

Role Responsibilities:
-Responsible for consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools, and
documentation throughout the project lifecycle as aligned to the PMI Project Management of Knowledge (PMBOK)
-Understands service offerings so that they can identify and articulate new business opportunities and provide sales
support
-Ensures high quality is planned and delivered on the project, meeting all agreed upon requirements and ensuring high
customer satisfaction through the management of the overall customer experience
-Drive all aspects of project management activity, including collaborating and coordinating across the organization
- Plans and conducts communications during the project to ensure stakeholders are involved, expectations are accurately
set, managed, and key stakeholders receive adequate communications throughout the project lifecycle and this includes
customer and NTT Data stakeholders
-Ensures purchases are planned and suppliers are managed efficiently and according to policy
-Manages revenue range or project budget range, which may be > $5M or project hours may be > 5300 hrs per month.
May lead greater than 32 FTEs per month
-Defines program value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for global programs
-Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital, etc) to complete the program objectives on time, within
scope, and on budget
-Ensures that constituent project managers adhere to the standard project management methodology throughout the
project lifecycle, as aligned to PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
-Drives program decisions to support NTT Data’s and/or the customer’s strategic direction and business objectives
-May be responsible for all or multiple aspects of the Project Management Office (PMO) functions which includes, but is
not limited to the following: project portfolio governance and project portfolio management, project resource management,
and/or project quality management


Basic Requirements:
-10+ years of relevant experience (Specifically in Payer Healthcare Applications) or equivalent combination of education
and work experience
-PMP Certified - Required
-8 years experience in Agile software development methodology
-Must be local to the Reston, VA area

Preferences:
-Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience
-Industry experience, along with in-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise

-Advanced capability in the ten PMI PMBOK knowledge areas to the extent necessary to effectively manage or support
projects
-Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company’s project
management information system (PMIS)
-Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans
-Advanced ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance
-Advanced capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and NTT Data in order to monitor the
progress of the project
-Advanced understanding of the links and dependencies between the projects and other in-flight projects and/or business
initiatives
