We are currently seeking a Systems Admin (O365) to join our team in Salem, Oregon (US-OR), United States (US).

Overview:

Provide Managed Services support for our client’s multi-tenant Microsoft 365 Environment consisting of the day-to-day administration, management, and operational Tier 2/3 support needs.

 

Managed Services include common support, operations, administration, and management tasks necessary to:

  • ensure a stable and productive computing environment in 7 EIS managed tenants
  • act as the escalation-point for agency Help Desks for issues
  • respond to prioritize and resolve escalated end user and tenant environment issues
  • fulfill requests for application support and administration enabling managed changes to email, messaging, and other collaboration applications
  • provide proactive information and reports on usage, licensing, system errors, notifications, and ticket activity

 

The Managed Services provided will be in the following general areas and include but are not limited to:

  • Multi-Tenant Management
  • M365 User and Identity Management
  • M365 Application Administration for Exchange Online, SharePoint, TEAMS, OneDrive, MS Office, eDiscovery, and Multi-Factor Authentication
  • M365 Security     

 

*** All work will be performed remotely.

*** Core business hours are 7 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time on Monday through Friday with the exception of Federal and client’s State holidays.

*** On-Call support will be rotated among the staff for Priority 1 – Critical incidents during non-business hours.

 

Duties:

  • Provide support, administration, health and security monitoring of M365 to include:
  • Daily monitoring and management of the M365 ticket queue
  • Initial Tier 2/3 ticket triage
  • Ticket Resolution and/or escalation
  • Monitoring and management of the M365 environment
  • Add/remove of user accounts and AD groups
  • Support Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups
  • SharePoint end user accounts, permissions and access rights

 

Position Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator supporting Office 365
  • Three (3) years working in cloud environments
  • Three years' experience with operational health of Microsoft 365 services with hands-on in Exchange On-prem and Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory, Azure AD and AD Connect, Intune, Defender and Endpoint manager.
