We are currently seeking a Governance Forum Lead to join our team in San Antonio, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is looking for a Governance Forum Lead to support a critical global program to modernize the Department of Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. This will result in standardized, highly available and robust global IT infrastructure and enterprise services that span DHA from the end-user desktop through the data center while adhering to cost containment and operational efficiencies. The IT infrastructure and operations framework will support a global data communications network and enterprise services infrastructure, managing and governing a network of local and regional Integrated IT Service Providers (ISPs) and vendors. The managed service provider community is delivering data center, telecommunications and end-user platform capabilities supporting more than 1,200 healthcare delivery and support locations with over 150,000 military personnel.

 

As the Governance Forum Lead, you will be responsible for improving business initiatives through the detailed management of governance programs and data analysis across the DHA in support of the program. You will serve as a strategic business partner that works in partnership with senior contract and government leadership to establish and implement new IT governance methodologies, tools, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards. You will champion governance efforts through open, accountable, responsive, effective, equitable and inclusive practices. You will help guide the program through the implementation of program and project governance by establishing communication and working closely with the Organization Change Manager and change management processes to ensure full and transparent communication. You will use your unique knowledge and experience to identify risk impact to the program and organization, help outline effective remediation efforts, and provide openness to executive leadership on the IT risk environment. Your ability to design strategic programs and execute against critical initiatives is another crucial success factor. In this role, we would count on your Information Technology and Risk Management experience drive execution and results.

 

As part of your duties you may also plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. You may lead and guide the work of technical staff and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. You will plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage all the while monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. You will apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments which may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. You may supervise others.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Six (6) years of progressive experience in IT Governance.
  • PMP or equivalent
  • ITILv4 certification or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four (4) years of additional experience along with a HS/GED will substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Six (6) years of progressive experience in Organizational Change Management.
  • Six (6) years of progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture, preferred DoD standards.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing in a large complex IT infrastructure consolidation effort
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization and meeting with stakeholders to formulate, review, and execute task plans and deliverable items.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting briefings to senior customer management, customer stakeholders, and company management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large group discussions with decision makers, governance leads and architectural review boards
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD/military health systems and programs, i.e. MHS, GENESIS, DHA, MTFs, DHMSM
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD/DHA systems/programs/commands in general
  • Demonstrated experience with large ServiceNow implementations
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise IT management approaches and ITIL v3/4-aligned methods including one or more ITBM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITIM, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with programs that include many contractors, vendors, and customers in healthcare delivery (hospitals) locations around the country, preferred global.
