We are currently seeking a On-Site Lead Business Analyst (Planning) to join our team in San Diego, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead Enterprise Planning Processes - Facilitate and support end-to-end demand and supply planning processes, ensuring alignment between business forecasts, production capabilities, inventory targets, and customer commitments.
2. Manage MPS (Master Production Scheduling) Activities - Develop, maintain, and optimize Master Production Schedules to balance demand, capacity, inventory levels, and service objectives while ensuring schedule stability.
3. Drive MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Execution - Analyze MRP outputs, identify material shortages and excess inventory risks, and collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
4. Own Planning Master Data Governance - Manage and maintain planning-related master data including BOMs, routings, lead times, planning parameters, item attributes, calendars, sourcing rules, and inventory policies to ensure data accuracy and planning effectiveness.
5. Business Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement - Gather and document business requirements, perform gap analysis, recommend process improvements, and support implementation of planning system enhancements and optimization initiatives.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting - Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to provide planning insights, KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills/Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise planning and supply chain processes within manufacturing or distribution environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules in ERP/APS planning systems.
• 4+ years of experience analyzing MRP recommendations, managing supply-demand exceptions, and resolving material shortages.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining BOMs, routings, lead times, planning parameters, item masters, and related planning data.
• 5+ years of experience working with enterprise planning applications and ERP-integrated planning solutions.
• 5+ years of experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, documenting functional specifications, and supporting solution delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of production planning, procurement, inventory management, capacity planning, and order fulfillment processes.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams across global organizations.
• Experience supporting planning transformations, ERP implementations, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or other SAFe/Agile certification.
• Working knowledge of an ERP platform such as Infor LN/Baan, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience working with global supply chain organizations and cross-functional teams.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,142 - $120,615 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
