We are currently seeking a OCM Lead to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico (US-PR), United States (US).
Overview of job:
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, developing, and executing the change management strategy to support the successful implementation of PRE support. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to executive sponsors, project leadership, business units, and key stakeholders, helping identify major client challenges, assess organizational impacts, and develop actionable solutions to enable successful adoption. The OCM Lead will play a critical role in driving alignment, influencing stakeholders, managing resistance, and ensuring the people-side of change is effectively planned, executed, measured, and sustained.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated Organizational Change Management strategy to support the successful adoption of reengineered business processes, systems, and organizational structures.
- Serve as a change advisor to executive sponsors, project leadership, business units, and functional stakeholders, providing guidance on change risks, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement
- Identify major issues facing the client organization, generate hypotheses regarding root causes and impacts, and develop practical solutions to address risks, barriers, and opportunities.
- Conduct complex stakeholder analyses and change impact assessments to evaluate organizational readiness, adoption risks, business challenges, and areas requiring targeted intervention.
- Design, lead, and oversee targeted communication strategies that promote timely, transparent, and effective information flow across all impacted stakeholder groups.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive training and knowledge transfer strategies to ensure end-user readiness, proficiency, and sustained adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Partner with project leadership, business units, and functional teams to align change management activities with project milestones, business objectives, governance processes, and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate executive alignment sessions, leadership engagement forums, sponsor coaching, and stakeholder workshops to build visible and active sponsorship for change initiatives.
- Apply advanced influencing and communication skills to build consensus, resolve misalignment, and support decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Monitor organizational readiness, stakeholder sentiment, adoption progress, and change effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and analytical insights to refine strategies and interventions.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage resistance to change by developing mitigation strategies, escalation paths, and leadership interventions.
- Support the development and execution of long-term sustainment plans to embed process, system, and behavioral changes into the organization’s culture, operating model, and day-to-day practices.
- Provide hands-on coaching, guidance, and oversight to project teams, managers, and change agents to strengthen internal change capability and support consistent execution.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills by managing competing priorities, coordinating multiple stakeholder groups, and ensuring timely delivery of change management work products.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience leading organizational change initiatives for large-scale, complex projects.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin) and best practices.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Medicaid eligibility processes, including policy, determinations, and enrollment.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or a minimum of four (4) years of related experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, and defining success metrics.
- Must demonstrate fluency in Puerto Rican Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and accurately. Proficiency should reflect a strong understanding of regional linguistic and cultural nuances relevant to the Puerto Rican population.
Preferred Skills:
- Prosci® Change Management Certification or equivalent, required
- Proven ability to develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and resistance management.
- Extensive experience preparing for and facilitating meetings, interviews and making presentations.
- Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions.
- Training material development and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork and customer service skills.
- On island in driving distance to San Juan, Puerto Rico
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $65,000 - $80,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
