The Payroll Specialist will take the leadership of working with our TMF Payroll Vendor to process the bi-weekly payroll for the Brazil, Colombia and Argentina Payrolls. This position will be out of Mexico City or San Paulo, Brazil. Our TMF Payroll Vendor performs the gross to net processing of the payroll, so the role of this Payroll Specialist will require performing key pieces of the end to end payroll process along with our vendor and adherence to payroll cutoff times and timelines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with our TMF Payroll vendor to set up for every new payroll cycle
  • Bi-weekly Union Payroll – Preview Validation.  Validation from our Payroll Vendor is a key part of this role.  Back up possibly to other Latin American entity processing could be required.
  • Manage Terminations/Severance for employees.  This may require interaction with our Payroll vendor and HR/Managers on clarification for final pay.
  • Initiate and set up manual off cycle payment requests
  • Requests Stop Pays/Reversals
  • Isocial is a must
  • GL Reconciliations, work through GL issues with Payroll vendor and NTT Data Services Finance
  • Work with our time system process owners as needed to ensure hours/time submitted are processed in the payroll cycles
  • Manage escalations from our HR Business Partners, Managers, Employee’s, Payroll Vendor as needed
  • Assist with payroll audits as needed for any payroll required data
  • Assist/lead with the year end processing with our Payroll Vendor
  • Resignation and contract termination process
  • Other responsibilities include but not limited to participate in special projects or ad hoc analysis as assigned



  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Payroll Specialist position with key focus in data validation
  • Must speak both English and the Brazil native language
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above a plus
  • Experience with TMF Payroll vendor preferred, not required
  • Effective communication (verbal and written)
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Certification as a payroll professional is a plus.
  • This is a full-time position that takes place during regular business hours, although overtime will occasionally be required depending on the needs of the business
