NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Application Technical Support Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).

 

 

NTT Data Services is seeking a technical support analyst to perform analysis and application support of business operations. 

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Ability to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain good relationships with clients
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with .Net solutions, SQL, PL/SQL, Queries development
  • Minimum 3 years MS Office, remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. Citrix / Remedy / ITSM)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Application Object library and System Administration
  • Minimum 3 years working knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripts


Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering

 

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft or similar certification is a plus.
  • Prior work experience as a Technical Support Engineer is a plus
