NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Device Innovation Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).

 

 

The Device Innovation Engineer will support the successful execution of all End User Services for a critical DaaS client.  This role will be working across multiple towers including Desktop Engineering to develop and implement technical roadmaps for our critical client.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand client’s current end-user environment and the future roadmap
  • Provide inputs to the client to update the roadmap
  • Participate in and support the in-scope delivery team in pilots
  • Participate in the overall OCM initiative
  • Seek to identify transformation initiatives to enhance end user experience
  • Participate in planning and design activities for transformation projects
  • Make suggestions as to where development and enhancement of future services may be needed by analyzing relevant service opportunities, and by gathering inputs from strategic business areas and Provider internal and external partners
  • Analyze the overall performance of the created service offerings, and evaluate performance and service improvement opportunities
  • Propose existing and new service offerings to designated internal groups
  • Assist and guide Innovation POC/prototyping activities, guiding requirements, standards, and best practice creation
  • Provide agreed reporting to leadership team on specific metrics that drive new innovations and desired behavior
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and products emerging in the End User Services area
  • Propose refinements to the definition of and validation of new features potentially leading to new service development, including understanding of what a “complete” solution comprises, ecosystem and partner dependencies, and use cases, as required
  • Meet with Client representatives to seek to understand consistency in deliverables and solution designs across the globe within End User Services
     

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in End User computing space
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge on Inventory Management, Software distribution & Patch Management using SCCM
  • 1+ years experience and strong knowledge with UEM (unified endpoint management) and modern management solutions such as Intune, Autopilot and Co-management with SCCM

 

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge on Image Management using SCCM
  • Very sound knowledge on various Imaging engines and Windows7/10 imaging technology
  • Able to develop custom deployment scripts (VBS, batch etc...)
  • Understanding on Package server, Task server, PXE server concepts
  • Should be able generate custom reports using SQL queries
  • Basic knowledge of windows server administration including AD, domains, policies etc.
  • Experience on Install shield, Wise packaging studio etc
  • Strong PowerShell experience
  • Desired State Configuration Methodology experience
  • Experience with Airwatch or other mobile device management suites
  • Experience with VDI
  • Experience with application virtualization
