Job Title: Azure APIM & Self-Hosted Gateway Administrator
Location: Tiverton, Ontario, Canada (or Remote - Canada)

Overview:
We are seeking a Grade 8 Azure API Management (APIM) and Self-Hosted Gateway (SHG) Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for managing mission-critical integrations at Bruce Power, ensuring secure and reliable communication between cloud and on-premise systems. The successful candidate will define and troubleshoot API interfaces, leverage Azure monitoring and deployment tools, and support multiple concurrent integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects and developers to define API interfaces in APIM and perform initial smoke tests using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, including IP allow-listing, certificate trust chains, and firewall rules, using Kusto Query Language (KQL) and Azure Log Analytics.
  • Manage environment deployments (DEV to QA to PROD) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure Pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Create and manage ServiceNow Change Requests for CAB/TAB review before production migrations.
  • Implement Azure Private Links, monitor logs, and set up alerts to ensure the reliability of the Self-Hosted Gateway.
  • Document operational procedures, maintain a certificate inventory in Azure Key Vault, and author knowledge base articles for knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure API Management (APIM), Self-Hosted Gateway and related Azure services (Application Gateway, WAF, Private Link).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using Kusto Query Language (KQL), Azure Log Analytics and familiarity with Postman/SoapUI for API testing.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates) and CI/CD using Azure Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with IT change management processes and ServiceNow.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Private Link and Application Gateway configurations.
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor for setting up alerts and monitoring SHG environments.
  • Background in documenting operational procedures and creating knowledge base articles.
  • Familiarity with related Azure services such as Key Vault and WAF policies.

Responsabilités clés :
