We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Role Responsibilities:

• Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints and schedule. Manages projects according to work plan. Performs critical path analysis.
• Develops and routinely reassesses project budgets to account for variances and ensures accuracy. Creates budget reports to compare actual with forecasted costs.
• Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders
• Specifies the general requirements of the system, develops broad system alternatives, and identifies their administrative, economic, and technical feasibility and practicality as well as associated policy and organizational change requirements
• Analyses and evaluates each alternative based on make/buy, impact and cost/benefit considerations, and proposes, justifies, plans, and cost the implementation of the selected alternative
• Produces overall plan, a detailed plan for the functional analysis phase, and obtains approval of preliminary analysis
• Plans, directs and controls the activities of a system development team within scheduled time and cost parameters
• Evaluates proposed computer applications to determine technical, operational, and economic feasibility
• Designs and tests systems to ensure that the objectives of the system are met and that the outputs produced are in accordance with client requirements
• Monitors the design, implementation, and operations start-up of the proposed system against established goals, objectives, and milestones
• Creates transition plan, identifies lessons learned, and applies the lessons learned to future projects
• Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies
• Establishes program objectives; develop requirements, plan schedules and estimate cost
• Balances stakeholder needs and effectively negotiates trade offs between scope, schedule, and budget
• Balances needs of multiple stakeholders and gains buy-in from groups who may be resistant to change

 Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years, within the last 15 years, experience as a Project Coordinator, with participation in the  role in at least 5 projects with similar subject matter and scale. Previous experience with modernizing business applications would be an asset.
• Must have 3+ years experience working with the following technologies:
  • Power Platform (Canvas app and Power Automate)
  • SPO (SPO lists)
  • M365
• Must be fluently bilingual (spoken and written) in both English and French.

Preferences:

• Consulting experience in public sector highly preferred
• PMP Certification

This position requires a valid Canadian Security Clearance.  Candidates can be guided through the application process for this clearance; and must successfully obtain the clearance to fill the position.
