We are currently seeking a Entry-Level Data Center Engineer to join our team in Toyosu, Tokyo (JP-13), Japan (JP).

Entry-Level Data Center Engineer plays a critical support role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of data center infrastructure.

The role includes assisting with the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of physical hardware, environmental systems, and network connectivity within the data center. The Engineer will participate in hands-on tasks such as installing servers, cabling, and monitoring power and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, racking, and cabling of servers, networking devices, and other data center equipment.
• Perform routine hardware inspections and assist with equipment upgrades or replacements under supervision.
• Monitor environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, airflow) and report anomalies to senior staff.
• Assist in documenting infrastructure layouts, changes, and maintenance records.
• Provide physical support for system reboots, hardware swaps, and network patching.
• Participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 operations, including weekend or after-hours coverage when needed.
• Follow established safety, security, and operational procedures, including access control and incident response protocols.
• Collaborate with experienced team members on infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Observe and learn the Change Management Process in order to review and coordinate planned changes.
• Coordinate with external IT teams and IT system administrators or Support Vendors for related Data center support activities.
