NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Support Specialist to join our team in Turlock, CA.  We are only considering local applicants at this time.  Normal work hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.  On call rotation required for after hours and weekend support approximately every 6 weeks.
 

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and analysis for all network systems and components
  • Install, modify, test, and service all converged network communication equipment - Monitor network to ensure its reliability and performance
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems affecting network stability and performance
  • Working technical knowledge of PBX, voice mail, interactive voice services, call management systems, and telecommunications accounting systems, including Cisco Voice over IP telecommunication system
  • Knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, and voice/data equipment, including Cisco switches, routers, and VOIP system
  • Ability to conduct research into telecommunications issues and products as required
  • Configuration work will typically be performed during normal business hours; however, the support and installation roles could include after hours, and weekend work
  • Experience with personnel management and project management


Requirements 

  • 2 – 3 years of experience with Network Administration / LAN/WAN Network Management
  • Experience with Cisco
  • Familiar with routing, internet, switching
  • Experience with Network Voice / Telecom / AVAYA PBX

 

Preferences

  • Cisco CCNA certification
  • Familiar with Datacenter Management
  • Experience working in a Hospital / Healthcare environment
