We are currently seeking a PowerBI Developer - Warren, New Jersey to join our team in Warren, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Power BI Sr. Consultant & Azure Data Lake

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Develop reports and dashboards on Power BI
• Build Analysis Services reporting models
• Write complex DAX functions in Power BI Worked on all types of transformations that are commonly used in Power BI Query editor
• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Connect data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for Analyse business problems to determine the best way to apply BI capabilities to deliver solutions
• Maintain and grow working knowledge of enterprise data assets and data-centric business processes
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum six years’ experience as a Power BI Developer
• Minimum two years' experience in data-specific roles

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of data model in Power BI
• Excellent understanding of row-level security in Power BI
• Experience embedding Power BI into applications
• Experience using Direct-Query & Import options in Power BI and ability to decide when to choose one over the other
• Knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack
• Grip over data analytics
• Should possess software development skills
• Very good communication skills; must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams

• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
