We are currently seeking a Configuration Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
Job Duties:
- Provide support to Navy Program Office responsible for full life cycle management of undersea defensive weapon systems.
- Supports Logistics Team with execution of budget.
- Maintains Operations and Maintenance, Navy account spend plans.
- Distribute and track execution of funding through metrics and reports.
- Assists with entering documents into financial enterprise system, NEPS.
- Provides direct support for quarterly Risk Review Board meeting.
- Supports all general Integrated Logistics processes through the program office.
- The Contractor shall provide Configuration Management (CM).
Configuration Management Support:
- Work with PMS415 engineers and managers to update and maintain accurate system, equipment, and devices Configuration Review Board (CRB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) Membership Lists and Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) Database electronic CRB/CCB Workflows.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineer (PE), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to verify Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Trouble Reports (TR), and Requests for Variances (RFV) forms are created and launched for PMS415 community review, comment, comment adjudication, concurrence, and approval via the iPDM Database.
- Monitor all ECP, TR, and RFV iPDM eCRB/CCB workflows, notifications, and status reports to verify adherence to priority processing based upon Critical, Major, and Minor Changes within designated review timelines.
- Participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) to formally examine the hardware and software against the drawings to verify the drawings accurately document the as-built production Configuration Items (CI). Assist with PCA findings rep.
- CM Gatekeeper – Process and track engineering change documents for iPDM workflow through internal review, CRB, CCB and PMS435 Approval.
- CDRL Process backup. Track and process deliverables for iPDM review.
- iPDM onsite expert, create new user guides, troubleshooting and resolution.
- Attend weekly ISEA/AEA meeting with system engineers.
- Provide guidance for OEMs and New users with iPDM and the CM process.
- Assist with baseline Publications by incorporating drawings from Approved ECPs, troubleshoot problem areas.
- Weekly updates to ECD logs as required and distribute ECD and NAVSEA numbers when requested.
- Update CRB/CCB reviewer list with personnel and title changes.
- Enforce approved CM process in day-to-day operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Secret security clearance required
- High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in integrated logistics support.
