NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Cyber Security System Administrator to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

 

 

Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems (e.g., antivirus, audit and remediation) to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.

Identify Signature implementation impact for viruses, malware, and attacks.

  • Investigates, analyzes, and responds to cyber incidents within the network environment or enclave and perform tier 1, 2, and 3 malware analysis.
  • Collect intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, Trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber defense incidents within the enterprise.
  • Perform static malware analysis and isolate and remove malware.
  • Report and communicate malware scan results and work cross-functionally with storage, network, server, software and application engineers to assess risk level, develop, and recommend appropriate vulnerability remediation measures.
  • Support organization's cyber defense policies, system configurations, evaluate and report compliance with regulations, polices, and organizational directives.
  • Design, develop, configure, test, and implement Anti-Virus solutions meeting security requirements.
  • Ensure Anti-Virus security tools are maintained, upgraded, and configured to meet standards.
  • Ensure and optimize Anti-Virus security systems health, performance, availability, and troubleshoot problems and apply resolutions.
  • Use incident, event, problem, configuration, change and release management practices to report, track, implement solutions, and resolve security related issues.
  • Assess and report Anti-Virus security tool performance, capacity, licensing, and support availability.
  • On-call rotation of 24/7 availability of security operations remediation services.
  • Create, update and maintain Anti-Virus design, architecture, data profiles, licenses, support agreements, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge articles.
  • Maintain service level targets with customer and support organizations.
  • Communicate routinely and effectively through multiple channels and stakeholders.
  • Manage assignments, and work independently to define, drive, and execute deliverables.

 

Basic Qualifications

5+ Years of Systems Administration experience

3-5 Years of Security/Anti-Virus Security experience

3-5 Years’ experience working with malware analysis tools, e.g, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Trend Micro products, and analysis of captured malicious code (e.g., malware forensics). 

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Use of BMC Remedy Service Management, Tenable Nessus Vulnerability Scanner, and Cisco IronPort Email Gateway security tools.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Diagnostic Mitigation tools, and Help Desk IT Service Management.

 

Desired Certifications and Degree: 

  • Symantec Certified Specialist.
  • Certified Ethical Hacker.
  • Technical Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
