We are currently seeking a CCWIS UAT Tester to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Overview of job:
The CCWIS UAT Tester will play a key role in the successful completion of UAT testing for the CCWIS project. The CCWIS UAT Tester has primary responsibility for reviewing the strategy and approach of testing activities planned by the DDI vendor. This position will be responsible for providing quality assurance related support for all user acceptance testing. 

Overview of job: 
 
Job Responsibilities Include: 
•    The UAT Tester will conduct all testing and evaluation of project initiatives and identify issues in software or services.  
•    The UAT Tester will analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates.   
•    As necessary, the UAT Tester will help with UAT testing to plan and organize UAT, coordinate and monitor testing, monitor defects, create defect reports, work with vendors and the state to resolve the defects/bugs.   
•    The UAT Tester will ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks.   
 
Basic Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of relative experience

•    Minimum 5 years of experience including:    

  • Minimum 1 year of experience on one or more Eligibility, Medicaid, or Health and Human Services (HHS) IT projects
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience involved in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans) 

 
Preferred Skills: 
•    Ability to develop effective, positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts.  
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
•    Working knowledge of MS Office products, e.g., Word, Excel, and online applications.  
•    Defect/bug management and familiarity with defect management tools (Bugzilla, JIRA etc.) 
•    Familiarity with requirements traceability matrix 
•    Experience with User Acceptance Testing preferred 
•    Creating testing requirements from design documents, functional requirements etc. 
•    Testing phases, testing entrance and exit criteria 
•    Testing data creation and maintenance 
•    Familiarity with development tools and development languages
