We are currently seeking a IT Sales Executive - Public Sector - Federal to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

NTT DATA currently seeks a Junior IT Sales Executive to join our Public Sector team and grow business in the DC - National Capital Area.

 

The ideal candidate NTT DATA is seeking has 1+ years of IT Sales experience and strong relationships in Public Sector industry vertical. Additionally, an understanding of Information Technology sales and technology services sales.  The primary role of this sales position is to generate, qualify, and closing new business at the Senior IT Management Level.

Additional Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Able to assess and assist in qualifying potential sales opportunities and developing value propositions to help maintain qualified pipeline of opportunities
  • Ability to successfully partner with other teams, including other Sales Executives, Consulting, Solutions, Delivery, Partners and Marketing to drive sales
  • Responsible for analyzing existing and anticipated customer requirements and finding solutions for them within NTT DATA and/or its partners
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding the business and advising on industry-leading digital and cloud integration solutions to streamline business operations, improve agility and adapt to changing technology needs
  • Sponsors and institutionalizes new and innovative ways of working in teams to meet clients’ needs and objectives
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Possess sales aptitude, willingness to learn and curiosity
  • Successfully meeting or exceeding sales quotas

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in technical sales and/or professional services sales
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Federal Public Sector
