NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).  MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

 

 

The contractor shall provide protection support for this unit involving security inspections, research and analysis of emerging technologies, and process improvements.

Work assignments include but are not limited to:

 Provide the technical and functional activities at the contract level needed for program management of this effort. Program management includes productivity and management methods such as Quality Control, Configuration Management, Plan Management, and staffing at the contract level. Provides centralized administrative, clerical, documentation and other related functions

 Demonstrate knowledge of Intelligence Community Department (ICD) 705 Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) construction requirements and procedures through familiarity with the ICD 705 construction requirements, to include the mechanical and electrical requirements necessary to build a SCIF

 Demonstrate general building construction expertise to include knowledge of electrical wiring, building methods, HVAC systems, and blueprint in order to implement ICD 705 requirements

 Provide guidance related to Access Control, Intrusion detection systems, and defensive lock systems

 Perform Physical Security inspections

 Interpret blueprint construction drawings. Contractor shall review and understand construction drawings to ensure proposed construction methods are in accordance with SecD and ICD 705 requirements

 Prepare Security Reports

 Provide input and insight into creation of policies and standards

 Conduct and develop comprehensive risk profiles across all dimensions of a facilities project located in the U.S and U.S territories

 Demonstrate knowledge of Interagency Security Committee standards, which establishes a baseline set of physical security measures to be applied to all federal facilities

Must be able to work independently and possess exceptional analytical skills.
• Must possess excellent computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

•At least 3 years of prior experience in a military or civilian law enforcement agency.


•Must possess strong knowledge of Intelligence Community Department construction requirements for SCIF Construction and of Force Protection and Physical Security principles.


•An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.   A degree in a law enforcement discipline is preferred but not required.


•5-7 years of relevant experience


•Active Top Secret Clearance
