NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Program Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

 

 

Program Manager provides management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for task order execution.

 

Responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks. Manages service delivery at client headquarters and multiple remote sites utilizing employee and subcontractor personnel. Provides overall direction of program activities. Manages and maintains relationships at senior levels of the client organization. Works with the client to create and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules, budgets and contractual obligations. Organizes and assigns responsibilities to team leads, oversees the integration of all assigned tasks, and manages program risks.

 

Responsible for people care management, including performance evaluation, mentoring, hiring, maintenance of morale, and team building. Demonstrates sound written and oral communications skills, good judgement and decision making, and the ability to work effectively with management and clients.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage an enterprise delivery team with a diverse staffing of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensure contractual deliverables are provided and performance SLA’s are achieved.
  • Manage performance to exceed customer satisfaction, quality and team member performance.
  • Implement and manage enterprise governance and change control.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with transparence and integrity.
  • Manage cross-project initiatives
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established company and client commitments
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks
  • Provide program reporting for management and stakeholders

 

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities:

  • Prior successful experience providing program leadership in a federal environment.
  • Prior successful experience providing program leadership for program in excess of $100M annually
  • Prior successful experience managing enterprise delivery including Systems Development, IT Operations, Security and Architecture functions.
  • Experience managing matrixed / virtual teams to deliver services. 
  • Experience managing delivery service teams in excess of 100 team members
  • Strong customer service orientation; ability to collaborate and influence.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications. Comfortable delivering and presenting to client senior executives and stakeholders

 

Basic Qualifications

  • At least ten years of experience managing programs in an IT environment with experience managing programs/projects in a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of modernization and O&M projects, and with organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks.
  • Experience developing a strategic vision for a complex organization, balancing modernization needs with critical daily operations and maintenance requirements.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management from a recognized credentialing agency (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
