We are currently seeking a Security Analysis Advisor to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

In the role of Information Technology (IT) Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting IT site assessments for IT equipment and systems in one, or more, of sixteen Critical Infrastructure areas:

  • Chemical sector
  • Communications sector
  • Commercial Facilities sector
  • Critical Manufacturing sector
  • Dams sector
  • Defense Industrial Base sector
  • Emergency Services sector
  • Energy sector
  • Financial Services sector
  • Food and Agriculture sector
  • Government Facilities sector
  • Healthcare and Public Health sector
  • Information Technology sector
  • Nuclear Reactors, Materials and Waste sector
  • Transportation Systems sector
  • Water and Wastewater systems

 

You will review cybersecurity architectures for IT integrated environments to include all details down to component level information. You will review the design of IT cybersecurity strategies, the implementation of technical integration solutions, and use cases as appropriate. As part of your duties, you will conduct artifact analysis, research, and assessment pre-planning to identify the potential areas of weakness and collaborate with the assigned government staff to create a testing scope and execution plan. You will create and execute a test plan and conduct interview sessions in collaboration with the assigned government staff either on site or remote if the customer site is not available to determine potential policy, procedure, or technical vulnerabilities. You will draft and present impactful reports and briefings as part of delivery activities suitable for stakeholders including and up to C-level executives. NICE Role-PR-VAN-001 applies. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Must be a US citizen 
  • Be able to pass a background investigation
  • Minimum 7 years of assessor experience in a combination of one or more of the Critical Infrastructure Areas listed below: 
    • Chemical sector,  
    • Communications  
    • Commercial Facilities  
    • Critical Manufacturing  
    • Dams  
    • Defense Industrial Base  
    • Emergency Services  
    • Energy  
    • Financial Services  
    • Food and Agriculture  
    • Government Facilities  
    • Healthcare and Public Health  
    • Information Technology  
    • Nuclear Reactors 
    • Materials and Waste  
    • Transportation Systems  
    • Water and Wastewater Systems 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience reviewing cybersecurity architectures for IT integrated environments 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in design review of IT cybersecurity strategies, the implementation of technical integration solutions, and use cases as appropriate. 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in artifact analysis, research, and assessment pre-planning 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the creation and execution of test plans and the conduct interviews  
  • Possess one or more of the below certifications prior to start: 
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)  
    • CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP)  
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)  
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)   
    • GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA)  
    • Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)  
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Possesses advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities required to resolve more complex IT issues.  
  • Ability to analyze organization's cyber defense policies and configurations and evaluate compliance with regulations and organizational directives. 
  • Experience in the preparation of audit reports that identify technical and procedural findings and provide recommended remediation strategies/solutions. 
  • Expertise in conducting required reviews as appropriate within the environment (Architecture Design Review, System Configuration and Log Review) 
  • Knowledge of technical (Network Traffic Analysis) and nontechnical (evaluation of people and operations) risk and vulnerability assessments of relevant technology focus areas. 
  • Experience in making recommendations regarding the selection of cost-effective security controls to mitigate risk 
  • Proven ability to manage a department or a group with multiple disciplines.  
  • Advanced understanding and ability to develop and drive budgeting process.  
  • Excellent communications and relationship skills. 
  • Certified Ethical Hacker

For Colorado Candidates

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is Min: $86,500 - Max: $158,500. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
