NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SharePoint and OneDrive System Admin and Tier 3 Support to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

 

 

Position Information:
• Suggests and provides development and implementation expertise in all aspects of the current SP and OneDrive platform and the associated Microsoft SQL database server. Provide input, guidance and best practices on the proper implementation and usage of SharePoint for customer requests. Maintain a log of customer requests using Remedy and track development and implementation of customer sites.
• Troubleshoots site problems, addressing site permissions concerns, creating and configuring sites, and assisting in the definition of site resources.
• Supports troubleshooting of OneDrive issues.
• Evaluates all system upgrades and test the in the UAT environment. Deployment of the approved upgrade will occur during the defined SDS maintenance windows.
• Provides infrastructure support to the underlying SharePoint farm including recommendations, scheduling, testing and deployment of patches to SharePoint, Database system, and third party SharePoint software.
• Provides infrastructure support to OneDrive including recommendations, scheduling, testing and deployment of patches to SharePoint, Database system, and third party SharePoint software.
• Participates in appropriate change control and configuration management activities.
• Supports accreditation activities such as maintaining support design, management documentation and review of processes in support of annual security reviews and other C&A activities.

 

Required Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area

• 5-7 years' experience with SharePoint and OneDrive technologies and infrastructure
• 5+ years experience working on Agile projects using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
 

Preferred Skills:
• Demonstrated experience working in environments that have multiple platforms, languages, and tools interconencted to one another

• Familiar with standard software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience supporting the full life-cycle of applications - from architecting, to design, development, release, and O&M support
• Hands on experience in web technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) techniques
• Experience defining and implementing software standards
• Familiarity with DevOps in a .Net environment
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing practices and tools that improve development performance, collaboration and software quality
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate (oral, written, and active listening) to all levels of the business.
