NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Bilingual-Spanish)  to join our team in Wayne, PA. USA.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Bilingual customer service professional to effectively and efficiently respond to customer inquiries and issues.

  • Responsible to provide quality, professional service in all customer interactions.
  • Accurately provide benefit information and claim status to callers
  • Sending address updates to Accounting Representative by email.
  • Completing Tracer forms to void/reissue checks as requested by providers or insured members. Completed Tracers are given to Customer Service Supervisor for review.
  • Notifying Claims Department of possible large dollar claims by email.
  • When requested, sending HIPAA Authorization Form to caller
  • When caller gives verbal appeal of claim, checking with the Customer Service Supervisor to verify claim was processed correctly. If it was not, emailing Claims Examiner to pull claim and review and possible re-processing. Then, following up with caller. 
  • Responsible to maintain a working knowledge of account information.
  • Responsible to identify and escalate customer issues when appropriate to the Customer Service Supervisor. Ensuring that correct information is being given by asking Supervisor or Claims Examiner when necessary. If information needs to be updated, email the appropriate Claims Examiner, carbon copy Customer Service Supervisor. If caller insists on speaking with Supervisor, verify that Customer Service Supervisor is available, and escalate the call.
  • Responsible to attend all Customer Service staff meetings as required

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related.
  • Strong Verbal Communication skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English, speaking and written 
  • Must be able to navigate across mutiple screens
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications 
  • Must be able to read and comprehend policy guidelines and plan details.
