We are currently seeking a QA Engineer (US Healthcare Domain Expertise) to join our team in Westlake, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). This role will be on-site 5 days/week (every other week).
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test assets
- Adherence to software engineering best practices and standards
- Help drive toward Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement
- Understand and apply Test Driven Design (TDD) concepts to test and debug automated solutions and custom tools Support Functional Testing of Health & Welfare administration platform
- Understand test requirement and design to build effective test scripts for the given product
- Attend Requirement & design walkthrough calls with BAs/Developers
- Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing
- Report/track defects through Quality Center/JIRA and maintain defect report.
Must-Have Skills:
- SQL and Database Testing:
- Strong skills in writing SQL scripts and conducting database testing (5+ years).
- US Healthcare Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in the US healthcare domain (3+ years).
- Quality Assurance and Testing Lifecycle:
- Strong understanding of QA testing lifecycle, including writing test plans/strategies and executing manual and functional testing.
- Agile Environment Experience:
- Experience working in agile environments, with familiarity in tools like JIRA, Xray, and Confluence.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Web Services Testing:
- Experience with manual and automated testing of web services using API testing tools like SOATest, SOAPUI, REST, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Automation and Testing Tools:
- Expertise in automation testing for packaged applications and ERP test automation.
- Proficiency with tools like HP UFT/QTP or Selenium (1 to 3 years).
- Developer Tools and Automation:
- Experience with ITSM UI development using JavaScript (5+ years).
- ERP Testing:
- Extensive experience with Oracle ERP, particularly the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) module (5+ years).
- Scripting and Programming:
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and VB Script.
- Experience with Java/JEE and Core Java (1 to 3 years).
- Testing Frameworks:
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and unit testing (e.g., JUnit).
- Object-Oriented Technology:
- Experience in object-oriented technology is a plus.
- Browser Tools:
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for inspecting elements.
