We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • The Employee is expected to work as an Incident Manager for application related Incidents.
  • Leading and driving the incident management team to resolve incidents pertaining to application domain;
  • Focusing on communication and execution of IT services required for seamless operation of production applications and systems;
  • Engaging a global support organization, utilizing a blended resource model of on-site, onshore, and offshore team members, including resources from within the company and resources from vendor partners.
  • Coordinating with other IT departments, Infrastructure and Business partners for resolving incident tickets;
  • Prioritizing, troubleshooting, resolving IT Production Issue tickets and providing short-term workaround procedures to address system issues;
  • Working with the team to develop and communicate effective short-term workaround procedures to address system issues;
  • Overseeing marketing applications with business capabilities while maintaining the highest level of system availability;
  • The Employee would be tasked with managing small to medium projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion.
  • The Employee would be coordinating with team leads and other technical personnel throughout all stages of the project as needed.
  • The Employee is expected to manage multiple teams with multiple skills sets to resolve day to day project issues and incidents.
  • Developing summaries of applications issues with root cause and preventive measures;
  • The Employee is expected to work as an Incident Manager for application related Incidents.
  • The Employee is expected to have Organization and time management skills.
  • SLA & Metrics Management.
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding upcoming projects or issues
  • Creating plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Prepare weekly client status reports
  • Prepare/update monthly Service Level agreement reports – focused on process improvements & incident reduction
  • Prepare/update quarterly (QBR) & monthly reports
  • Performing trend analysis and working towards incident reductions to minimize business impacts and service disruptions; and

 

 

 

Qualification Required :

 

  • 10 + years of experience around Application development
  • 8+ years of Project Management Experience.
  • 3+ years of ITIL Framework & ITSM processes.

Preferred: 

  • Utilizing ITIL concepts and practices to define and utilize IT service operations;
  • ServiceNow reporting and work experience in Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • Strong Business Acumen - Knowledge of P&C products preferred
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
  • Basic understanding of how Windows , Linux & Middleware environment integrate with applications.
  • Basic understanding of how databases integrate with applications. 
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, and/or Leankit.
