Head of GCC Staffing
Role Purpose
Lead the end-to-end staffing strategy, demand governance, resource fulfillment, and workforce optimization for Global Capability Center (GCC) clients across India. The role will serve as the single point of leadership responsible for translating GCC talent demand into successful fulfillment outcomes while maximizing resource utilization, client satisfaction, speed-to-fill, and revenue realization.
The leader will work across Sales, Client Partners, GCC Account Teams, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, Delivery Units, HR, and Learning & Development to build a scalable staffing engine capable of supporting rapid GCC growth.
Key Responsibilities
GCC Demand Management
- Own the GCC staffing demand pipeline across all GCC clients and prospects.
- Establish demand intake, validation, prioritization, and governance processes.
- Create visibility into current and future staffing requirements.
- Forecast quarterly and annual workforce demand.
- Identify hiring trends, skill requirements, and emerging capability needs.
- Partner with Sales and Client Partners to understand upcoming GCC expansion plans.
Resource Fulfillment Leadership
- Own fulfillment performance for all GCC staffing requirements.
- Drive internal deployment, external hiring, subcontracting, and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of positions while maintaining quality standards.
- Escalate and resolve critical staffing gaps.
- Establish fulfillment SLAs and accountability across teams.
Workforce Planning & Supply Strategy
- Build proactive supply strategies aligned with GCC demand forecasts.
- Develop talent pools for critical and high-demand skills.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to create hiring plans.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development on reskilling and cross-skilling programs.
- Improve bench utilization and workforce readiness.
GCC Staffing Governance
- Establish governance forums and operational reviews.
- Lead weekly and monthly staffing reviews with business leaders.
- Create standardized demand and fulfillment processes across all GCC engagements.
- Ensure compliance with staffing policies and workforce regulations.
- Drive data quality and process discipline.

- Recommend strategic interventions based on data insights.
Required Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT services, GCC, workforce management, staffing, talent acquisition, or resource management.
- 8+ years leading large-scale staffing or workforce planning functions.
- Experience managing 500+ annual staffing demands preferred.
- Experience working with GCC clients and offshore delivery organizations.
- Proven track record of managing large talent supply chains.
