We are currently seeking a Networking Specialist Advisor to join our team in guadalajara, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

 

We're seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a strong understanding of Cisco/Routing & Switching, and Fortinet SDWAN. The selected candidate will operate as a NOC Engineer, responsible for troubleshooting and performing all activities across Cisco/Aruba R&S, Fortinet WAN, Cisco wireless ensuring seamless network operations.The candidate will also serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for network appliance evaluations, troubleshooting network and circuit issues, and coordinating with circuit providers and stakeholders to maintain an efficient and reliable network infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and maintain networked systems, including configuration management, troubleshooting
network issues, and coordinating with vendors for installations of network hardware such as Arista, Fortinet,
Cisco, and Aruba routers & switches, wireless controllers, and circuits.
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, with a focus on Fortinet
SDWAN, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, routers, and switches.
- Serve as a technical liaison with vendors and customers, ensuring smooth resolution of network-related
concerns.
- Apply advanced knowledge of WAN/LAN and internet protocols to troubleshoot existing network issues,
implement new solutions, and manage migration projects.
- Provide on-call support for high-severity issues and facilitate change requests outside of business hours as
required.

Key Skills:
- The ideal candidate should have expertise in Cisco R&S, Fortinet SDWAN, specifically Routing & Switching
protocols such as OSPF, BGP, eigrp, RSVP, MPLS, and NAC.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and NetBox is highly desirable.

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting techniques.
- Fair understanding of service provider routing and switching technologies (LDP, RSVP, MPLS, MP-BGP).
- Solid knowledge of network-related hardware and software.
- Foundational experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) including 5500, and 9800 WLC models.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Routing & Switching.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Willingness to work night shifts as required.
Work Timings: 24X7 rotational shift
