UAT Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Coordinator to manage and coordinate end-to-end UAT activities across business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking, and governing UAT execution to ensure business requirements are validated before production deployment.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, test coordination, defect tracking, and communication skills to drive successful project deliveries across multiple applications and business functions.

Key Responsibilities

UAT Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for projects, enhancements, and system releases.
  • Develop and maintain UAT plans, schedules, test execution timelines, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure UAT readiness.
  • Facilitate UAT kick-off meetings, daily status reviews, and closure meetings.

Test Management

  • Support business users in preparing and reviewing UAT test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure test cases provide adequate coverage of business requirements and processes.
  • Monitor test execution progress and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
  • Track test results and prepare testing dashboards and status reports.

Defect Management

  • Log, monitor, prioritize, and track defects throughout the UAT lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with development and support teams for defect resolution and retesting.
  • Ensure closure of critical and high-priority defects before release sign-off.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams during UAT.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Escalate testing risks and blockers to project leadership when required.
