We are currently seeking a Network & Security Engineer - Routing / Switching to join our team in remote, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of solution design
  • Lead a team of engineers for completion of network and security transitions
  • Implement the network and security solutions developed by the Solution Architect 
  • Work in a team to make project a success
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed network
  • Leverage extensive network knowledge experience to support the delivery of the network and security solutions

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience 
  • Overall 12 years of experience in industry
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in networking
  • Knowledge of LAN
  • Knowledge of WAN - MPLS, SDWan, P2P
  • Security and Hardening (ACL. Prefix-list)
  • Routing Engineering PBR, Routing protocols, BGP and OSPF
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of VPNs
  • Knowledge of tools as Wireshark
  • Knowledge of wireless controllers and APs
  • Basic load balancing skills
