NTT DATA is currently looking for a Sitecore Developer remote in the UK or in Sheffield, for our growing team in the UK.
Job responsibilities
- Develop software interfaces comprised of components and features with a focus on usability
- Work as part of an Agile team, following established standards
- Provide industry insight on Front End Development best practices
- Update existing and create new components to meet strict ADA compliance rules
- Work closely with UX Designers on complying with ADA requirements
- Architect and design client-side build systems/packages for future use cases
- Create necessary documents for application release cycles (Change Requests, Pull Requests)
- Knowledge on some of the below tools/languages to accomplish tasks:
o MS VisualStudio / VisualStudio Code
o Javascript / Typescript
o React, NextJS
o HTML
o CSS/SCSS/Sass (BEM)
o Sitecore version 9 and above
o MS Office tools
o Azure DevOps - Review Business Requirements Documentation, Technical Design Documentation and participate in peer review cycles with technical & non-technical counterparts.
Skills
- Development experience in Sitecore and its ecosystem, comprising Sitecore, Helix, Habitat, Sitecore commerce, Personalization etc.,
- Several years of software development experience preferable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, Java, C#, jQuery or similar technologies
- Working experience in Sitecore Headless CMS, exposing components using custom API and Sitecore JSS framework.
- Understanding development of React WebApps.
- Exposure to SXA, Helix and Habitat principles, Sitecore commerce, Coveo for Sitecore, SOLR.
- In-depth knowledge of Sitecore principles and working with templates, Renderings, Pipelines, Media library.
- Working in Sitecore V9.1 or higher.
- Good understanding of Azure deployments and CI/CD environments, GitHub and Azure Devops pipelines and deployment tools
- Strong knowledge in SQL.
- Experience in integrating Rest API/ SOAP etc.,
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular etc.,
