NTT DATA is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager/Architect Infrastructure - Banking in Sheffield and/or remote for our growing team in the UK.

Job overview

This role requires an experienced Project manager with architectural knowledge and with a mix of technical skills and business acumen to undertake a variety of systems-related projects. You will be working within the Infrastructure Portfolio and reporting to the Infrastructure Delivery Manager. The role involves working with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications that are hosted off-premises. It is not related to a Group data center (GDC), indicating it is for localized or smaller scale projects. The role would be for a generic pack tailored for small-scale requirements. It involves ticket-based access and is related to Privileged Access Management (PAM), which is concerned with controlling and monitoring privileged user access within an IT environment.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• responsible for delivering the Book of Work of the Infrastructure area, including management of end-to-end lifecycle from feasibility study through to implementation
• bring together various technical teams in the production of a clear, achievable, cost-effective, and supportable design by leveraging your wide range of Infrastructure technical skills
• liaise with the business areas and represent the Infrastructure Portfolio with credibility while guiding the business on the best solution, tailoring business requirements to meet best practice and our technical standards
• working with SaaS applications, managing infrastructure projects, and ensuring PAM compliance

Skills

• Strong project management background based on Infrastructure Delivery and Management, coupled with architectural skills
• Evidence of successful delivery of multiple projects within the Infrastructure space
• Project Management Qualification
• Commercially astute and experienced in dealing with budgets and external Vendors.
• Excellent communication skills
