We are currently seeking a Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end financial activities, including GST reporting, BAS reconciliation and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance.
• Prepare and coordinate tax compliance activities, including GST returns, income tax return support, tax control testing and financial statement information for Australia and New Zealand entities.
• Manage contractor administration activities, including contractor profile maintenance, prepaid hours updates, service agreement creation and ConnectWise ticket administration.
• Coordinate fortnightly payroll administration activities, including employee and contractor timesheet processing through Astute and related payroll systems.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, including Xero invoice processing and billing coordination with the AP team.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support business and management reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Finance, Tax, Payroll and business stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
• Drive continuous process improvements by identifying efficiencies, improving documentation and supporting knowledge transfer activities.
• Ensure all assigned activities are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with internal controls and compliance requirements.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance, Accounting or Shared Services environment.
• Experience in GST, FBT or tax compliance activities would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Xero, ConnectWise, Astute or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Demonstrates initiative, continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
