We are currently seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team in Austin, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud & Enterprise Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable infrastructure across hybrid environments. This role is responsible for modernizing legacy systems, driving cloud adoption (AWS and Azure, including GovCloud), and ensuring high availability and compliance for mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across infrastructure, networking, databases, and automation, along with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and manage enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure, including GovCloud
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premises systems to modern cloud-based architectures
- Develop secure, scalable infrastructure solutions supporting high-availability systems and critical data pipelines
- Manage cloud networking, including VPC design, routing, and security configurations
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation for patching, reporting, and system maintenance
- Oversee vulnerability management, security scanning, and remediation efforts
- Provision, optimize, and support database environments including SQL, Oracle, AWS RDS, and hybrid solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot complex, multi-platform issues
- Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and improve resource efficiency
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance on best practices and operational procedures
- Support application deployment, lifecycle management, and system integration across platforms
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud architecture and enterprise systems
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including GovCloud environments
- 5+ years of experience in networking, security, and infrastructure design
- 3+ years of experience with automation tools and scripting, including PowerShell
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, or Informatica
- Prior experience supporting government, healthcare, or financial services environments
- Active or previous security clearance
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and vSphere
- Experience with database platforms including SQL, Oracle, and AWS RDS
- Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Experience working in regulated or high-security environments

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $ 119, 678 – $ 235, 950. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
