We are currently seeking a HANA Transition Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Job Duties: HANA Transition Analyst - Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the transition of users from Hana to Snowflake and from using Analysis Office excel add-in to Coefficient excel add-in. This role involves managing the migration process, rebuilding or optimizing reports in the new environment, and delivering comprehensive user training to ensure smooth adoption. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication and change management skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Migration & Transition
o Plan and execute the migration of analytical reporting from the Hana via Analysis Office excel add-in to Snowflake using Coefficient excel add-in.
o Conduct feature parity analysis and ensure business-critical functionality is preserved.
o Validate migrated reports for accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
• Report Development
o Rebuild or redesign existing reports in the Snowflake environment.
o Optimize report performance and usability for end-users.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate enhancements during migration.
• Training & Enablement
o Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs.
o Conduct workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions for end-users.
o Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues during the transition phase.
• Change Management
o Drive user adoption through clear communication and proactive engagement.
o Gather feedback and adjust migration plans to minimize disruption.
o Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure alignment.
Minimum Skills Required: Qualifications
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
Experience:
o 8+ years of experience in Excel-based reporting and analytics.
o Proven track record of migrating users between Excel add-ins or similar tools.
o Hands-on experience with report development and validation.
Technical Skills:
o 5+ Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling).
o Familiarity with multiple Excel add-ins and enterprise reporting tools.
o Understanding of data governance and quality assurance principles.
Preferred Skills
o Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, SAP Hana, Analysis Office, Coefficient Tableau, or similar).
o Knowledge of change management frameworks.
o Exposure to training program design and delivery
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
