We are currently seeking a SAP MDG Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

SAP MDG Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join the SAP MDG Engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Master Data Governance solutions. The role involves driving data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, and delivering scalable SAP MDG solutions aligned to business requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MDG implementation and enhancement projects across the master data landscape.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Design, configure, and customize SAP MDG solutions to support business and governance needs.
• Conduct workshops, solution demonstrations, and end-user training sessions.
• Perform data modeling, data mapping, validation, and data governance activities.
• Configure and manage workflows, change requests, and approval processes.
• Implement and support data replication and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and compliance standards.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Stay current with SAP MDG innovations and recommend best practices for optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and data governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in SAP MDG configuration, data modeling, and workflow management.
• Experience in data replication, data quality management, and integration scenarios.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functional and technical teams.
• Functional understanding of financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP workflow concepts and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• SAP MDG Certification.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Master Data Governance.
• Exposure to integration technologies and enterprise data governance initiatives.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for MDG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
