We are currently seeking a SAP basis to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a “SAP Basis Security Consultant” to join our team

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

• Support our clients as SAP basis expert with thorough understanding of the latest SAP technology, tools, and architecture
• Identify, assesses, and solves complex SAP technology problems
• Perform system-wide analysis regarding the allocation of enterprise application technology and performance
• Develop analysis of technology architecture design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analysts
• Assist in creating and modifying strategies, resolve problems and document issues and resolutions
• Ability to communicate technical issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions
• Manages small-medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client
• Demonstrate knowledge in SAP Application Security
• Good understanding of SAP application security implementation methodologies, role based access controls and different applications threats
• Support audit and compliance activities.
• User Administration using SAP Standard tcodes, CUA, CUP OR ARM or IDM.
• Role Management such as updates related to bug fixes, role creation and design.
• Perform L1 L3 support for SAP Application Security, GRC (AC, PC, RM) and IDM

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum 4 years of SAP Basis or SAP Tech Arch experience, either cloud or on-premise
• Good understanding of SAP Solution Manager
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Familiar with Landscape strategy system architecture
• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience on SAP Security for at least 2 SAP Applications e.g. ECC or HP7, BW or BI, GRC, BOBJ, BPC, CRM, SRM
• Good understanding on concepts of Segregation of Duties SoD
• Knowledgeable on different user and role types, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles or Activity Groups, and User Administration on different SAP Platform
• Experience in supporting end to end SAP Security project implementation, security and GRC workshops, testing support, Cutover prep and Hyper care activities.
• Ability to create and provide SAP Security report when needed e.g. SOX and EWA reporting
•  Basis person who has worked on S4 Hana on GCP environment.
