Functional Role (Job Description)

The primary role of this opening is to support the Finance Operations Supervisor leads the Finance Operations team in India, covering the process areas Order-to-Cash (OtC), Accounts Payable (AP), and Travel Expense (Travel), Procurement, Controlling & Commercial.

This role ensures excellent service delivery, compliance, and team performance for the DACH region. The Supervisor acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) and operational bridgehead to the Finance Leadership Team in Germany, taking responsibility for results, communication, and operational stability.

Bachelors/Masters Degree in Accounting from a good University.

Professional qualification like CA, CPA, ICWA etc

Work Experience

12-14 Years in Finance - Includes 5-7 years managerial/leadership experience

Global experience of working with teams across Geographies will be given preference

Experience in multinational Finance Operations setups preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily Finance Operations across Order-to-Cash (OtC), Accounts Payable (AP), and Travel Expense (Travel), Procurement, Controlling & Commercial
• Ensure process accuracy, timeliness, and service quality in line with defined SLAs and KPIs. Ability to manage the daily operations and activities of the team and ensure all KRAs are met.
• Serve as the main communication interface (SPOC) between the Shared Service Center (SSC) in India and the Finance Leadership Team in Germany. Acts as liaison between Onshore and Shared Services team in the resolution of process related issues
• Own and resolve operational issues independently, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.
• Ability to manage HR related matters for the direct reports and teams; including interviewing, hiring, compensation planning, ongoing feedback/coaching and formal performance management (e.g. year-end reviews).
• Ensure smooth and efficient onboarding and offboarding of staff in case of organizational changes or replacements.
• Foster a positive, service-oriented, and performance-driven team culture.
• Support process documentation, continuous improvement, and cross-regional collaboration.
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and standardization of operations and systems.
• Analyze and resolve complex or difficult problems presented by subordinates, and escalate appropriately to the senior management.
