We are currently seeking a Data Engineer (AWS) to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryāna (IN-HR), India (IN).

Job Duties: We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong experience in designing, building, automating, and operating end-to-end data pipelines and workflows on AWS. The role focuses on developing scalable, reliable, and production-grade data platforms, with heavy emphasis on orchestration, CI/CD, testing, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS-native services, workflow automation using Apache Airflow, and enterprise-level code and release management practices. While the environment supports advanced analytics and ML workloads, this role is primarily focused on data engineering and platform enablement, not model research.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on AWS, covering ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery.
•    Develop and operationalise data workflows across development, testing, and production environments.
•    Implement and manage SageMaker Pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering, validation, and artifact management (from a data engineering perspective).
•    Automate workflows using Apache Airflow, including DAG design, dependency management, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
•    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, including automated testing, deployment, and environment promotion.
•    Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and pipeline validation tests for data pipelines and workflow components.
•    Integrate batch and real-time data pipelines, including streaming ingestion from Kafka.
•    Manage secure data access, secrets, encryption, and environment isolation in line with enterprise security standards.
•    Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and platform teams to ensure data pipelines meet analytical and operational needs.

Minimum Skills Required: Required Skills and Experience
•    7–11 years of total IT experience, with a strong focus on data platforms and cloud engineering.
•    4–7 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering roles.
•    4+ years of hands-on AWS experience, clearly demonstrated on the CV.
•    Strong experience with AWS services, including:
o    S3, KMS, Lambda, Secrets Manager
o    CodeBuild, CodePipeline
o    SageMaker Pipelines and Endpoints (used for data workflows and platform integration)
•    Strong experience with Apache Airflow, including:
o    DAG development, dependency management, scheduling, and monitoring
o    Unit testing and validation of DAG logic as part of CI/CD workflows
•    Extensive experience with GitLab (or similar) in enterprise environments, covering:
o    Repository management and governance
o    Branching strategies (tagging, forking, merge requests)
o    CI/CD pipeline configuration for data workflows
•    Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and pipeline development.
•    Experience integrating Kafka-based streaming data into data platforms.
•    Solid understanding of versioning, artifact management, and environment isolation.
