We are currently seeking a Business Consulting - Technical Analyst to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Location: Pune, India

Role/Team Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Analyst with deep expertise in designing and implementing automated solutions using modern workflow tools and cloud technologies

This role focusses on developing bespoke software solutions that are aimed at back-office process automation. The Engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.

Key responsibilities are the following:

• Work as part of an Agile software development team to deliver valuable business requirements.
• Actively participate in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigating and proposing appropriate technologies.
• Cloud Integration: Integrate automation solutions with Azure services (Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure Automation) and ensure seamless connectivity with ServiceNow for ITSM and business workflows.
• Scripting & Development: Design and implement automation scripts and modules using C#, PowerShell, and Python to support custom requirements and enhance existing systems.
• Configure applications in different environments.
• Work alongside the core automation platform tea which provides the infrastructure for various automation systems.
• Technical design of the new solutions applying best practice software design techniques and collaborating with other engineers and SME’s as required.
• Evaluate market-leading best-in-class software components which help to create a sustainable and best quality codebase.
• Assist more junior developers, coaching their development skills and controlling their work where appropriate.
• Provide L3 support and troubleshooting for production problems.
• Follow SDLC guidelines including coding standards and compliance with security controls.
  
  The successful candidate will have a clear focus on providing accurate and robust solutions whether working independently or as part of a team whilst delivering in a high-pressure environment.  It is important for the candidate to have enthusiasm, commitment and a positive attitude as well as being a strong team player.  It is also essential for the candidate to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss, analyse and accurately document technical solutions and analyse issues.

Experience & Technical Skills:

Mandatory:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in engineering roles, with significant experience in automation and workflow engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with GitHub Actions/Workflow, Azure Automation (including Azure Storage, Azure Monitor), ServiceNow, Power Automate, and scripting/programming in C#, PowerShell, and Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Beneficial:

• Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Experience integrating automation with ServiceNow for ITSM workflows.
• Familiarity with application packaging, testing, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer, Azure certifications).
• Experience with cloud development, especially Azure.
