Job Title: Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce development, release management, and DevOps best practices, with a strong focus on implementing and managing Copado for automated deployments and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline and automate Salesforce release processes, improve deployment efficiency, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Salesforce DevOps pipelines using Copado.
Automate deployment processes for Salesforce environments, including sandboxes, UAT, staging, and production.
Collaborate with Salesforce developers, admins, and business stakeholders to understand release requirements and plan deployment strategies.
Monitor and troubleshoot deployment failures and provide root cause analysis.
Maintain version control systems (e.g., Git) and integrate with Copado for source-driven development.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that ensure efficient testing and deployment cycles.
Configure and manage Copado features such as User Stories, Pipelines, Merge Conflicts, Quality Gates, and Static Code Analysis.
Assist with Salesforce environment management including sandbox refreshes, data migrations, and environment provisioning.
Ensure compliance with release management policies, audit trails, and governance processes.
Train and support team members on Copado best practices and Salesforce DevOps principles.
Keep up to date with the latest Salesforce and Copado releases, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer or Release Manager.
Strong hands-on experience with Copado platform for Salesforce release management.
Deep understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle, metadata, and deployment processes.
Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce configuration.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer, or DevOps Engineer certification are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other DevOps tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
Understanding of automated testing frameworks for Salesforce.
Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in Salesforce releases.
Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
