NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Salesforce Tech Lead Experience Cloud and good to have OCR Skill with 8+ years of experience.

Client's Business Problem to Solve

The client seeks to:

  • Enable Experience Cloud for partners and users, ensuring robust security, data privacy, and dynamic UI configurations.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., SAP) to streamline order submission and tracking fulfillment.
  • Implement Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies to enhance document management and automate data extraction workflows. This includes solutions like Google Vision, Amazon Textract, MuleSoft OCR connectors, and other third-party OCR apps integrated into Salesforce.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines for smoother development and release processes.
  • Assist in SIT/UAT defect triage and performance tuning, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with Solution Architects (SA) to support technical designs for user stories.
  • Guiding developers on configuring Experience Cloud features and implementing Apex, Flows, and LWC for customization.
  • Configuring Experience Cloud sharing rules, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and partner portal privacy rules to ensure secure access for different user roles.
  • Working closely with the integration team to ensure smooth order submission and visibility into fulfillment status.
  • Establishing CI/CD practices with the Release Engineer, ensuring thorough code reviews and adequate unit test coverage.
  • Supporting SIT/UAT defect triage and collaborating with the team to optimize application performance.
  • Leading efforts to integrate OCR technologies (e.g., Google Vision, Amazon Textract, MuleSoft OCR connectors, or other third-party OCR apps) into workflows to automate document management and streamline data extraction processes. This includes integrating OCR reader solutions into Salesforce for improved efficiency.

Requirements for this Role Include:

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including proficiency in Apex, Triggers, LWC, Flow, and Platform Events.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Experience Cloud, including RBAC for portal users and managing privacy rules.
  • Strong experience with Git-based workflows and code review tools to ensure high code quality.
  • Experience implementing security on Experience Cloud, including managing privacy rules and securing portals for supporting different partner roles.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, integration teams, and release engineers.

Preferred Skills – Optional (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Exposure to SAP/Vistex order/contract objects for integration with Salesforce.
  • Experience managing large data volumes and working with asynchronous patterns.
  • Familiarity with Einstein Bots for configuring conversational assistance and managing claims FAQs.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven Co-pilot or Agentic AI for automating processes, guiding workflows, and providing contextual recommendations and agent assistance.
  • Good to have experience in OCR reader solutions like Google Vision, Amazon Textract, MuleSoft OCR connectors, or other third-party apps integrated into Salesforce for enhancing document management and automating data extraction workflows.
